1920s Pressed Dried Flower Inlay Silver Brooch
A really beautiful pewter set brooch from the 1920s featuring a pressed, moulded frame with a trombone clasp fastening. The flowers in the centre are dried and pressed, and the cabochon top is framed by a delicate rope twist border.
These were traditionally given as a sweetheart token with a forget-me-not sentiment.
There is some surface scratching to the metal that is commensurate with age but otherwise presents beautifully.
Despite not being stamped, this brooch tests positive as silver.
