This striking cotton dress from the 1960s is a classic with its patriotic red, white and blue pattern of daisies, gingham, ric rak and checks. It features short sleeves trimmed with white contrast cuffs and a white contrast feature collar with a large, eye-catching white button to the front. The skirt is given a stunning touch with its perfectly-spaced knife pleating, which maintains the top row of daisies' appearance, even overlapping. A back metal lapped zipper and a Hook and Eye to the top of the collar provide a polished finish. This scooter dress is a delightful 1960s statement piece.

Interesting note from Mrs D - "Despite having no internal labels, I am almost certain this could be a "Dollyrockers" dress; a popular British boutique brand in the 1960s, well known for their bold prints and florals. The fabric was produced by Schwartz-Leibman Textiles who were one of the biggest suppliers for Dollyrockers during this period."

Condition

Exceptional condition. No flaws. Original thread loops are present but no original belt.  However, this looks great without one, or would team really well with any of our stretch belts or our Corrine belts.
