1970s Lurex Sparkle Floor Length Bond Girl Gown

  • $144.00
    Unit price per

This stunning wiggle dress boasts a fine black knit and silver lurex sparkle. It is fully-lined, with a lapped back zip closure and V-neck front with draped pleating across the bust, and subtle pleating at the top of the skirt that cascades and drapes dramatically to the floor.
The combination creates a bewitching and flattering hourglass silhouette.
The long sheer sleeves feature light inbuilt shoulder pads, while the lack of commercial labels suggests this dress may have been handmade, to a good standard.

Guaranteed to leave an impression at any formal event. Live your Bond Girl fantasy!

Condition

Good condition with some small issues - there are a few pulls in the fabric on the back bodice, one on the lower front skirt, and both sleeves, all of which are lost in the general busy-ness and sparkle of the dress. The bottom of the lining looks to have been stitched to the outer at some point and possibly unpicked for altering length, leaving a shadow line on the outer at the very bottom, not noticeable when on. Nevertheless these have been considered in the price.
