A magnificent 1960s cocktail dress crafted from Caribbean Blue Shantung raw silk; this piece showcases the classic design elements of the period.

Boasting princess seams, the shift bodice exemplifies timeless elegance. For added drama, the sleeves are diaphanously pleated and feature fitted silk bracelet cuff detailing, overlaid with soft blue lace appliqué. This same appliqué graces the round neckline, culminating in the two pointed collar at the back. The back lapped zip fastening, complete with hook and eye to the top, allows secure fastening. Each cuff fastens with two hidden press studs. An exemplary garment of the era!
