1960s Margaret Smith Floral Shirt Dress
This pristine mid-1960s Margaret Smith shirt dress is a rare size!
Margaret Smith, a designer from Maine, USA, is renowned for her collectible floral print handbags. Her prints are also featured on this standout piece, which appears to be in unused condition. Boasting a crisp white base and thin shadow stripes, the dress features a range of vivid hues - red, yellow, blue, orange, and two shades of green - that create a delicate floral look. A shirtwaist style, it has an open collar with 5 buttons along the placket, thread belt loops with the original belt, and two inset side pockets. Its short sleeves boast a turn up cuff.
