1960s Nautical Mod Skater Dress

Super cute, super sixties and super fun!

This adorable Mod dress is white with a darted bodice and full skater skirt. The neckline, arm holes and hemline are trimmed in navy and there is a navy ship wheel appliqué on the top right hand side of the bodice. She has a back lapped metal zip fastening with a metal hook and eye above, the fabric has a little stretch.

We paired this with one of our classic elasticated belts on our model. (not included)

Condition

Tiny pull to the bottom rear of the skirt that we have repaired and disguised, so is barely noticeable, otherwise excellent condition.

Measurements and details

All vintage clothing is measured with the garment flat and measurements doubled for width. Please compare these measurements to a garment that fits you well as often there is very little or no give in vintage fabrics.

Bust: up to 44 inches
Waist: 34 inches
Hips: 56 inches
Length from shoulder: 39 inches

Our model, Miss Tanya, is 5'6"/167.5cm tall and usually wears a VV size Esther (one size larger than this).

There is approx 1/2 inch seam allowance for alterations.There is no hem allowance as it's trimmed with the navy but you could make it shorter by removing the trim, shortening the length and reapplying the trim.
