Norma Jean Old Hollywood Dress

Oh my! We simply can't pick a favourite from our new collection from cult favourite brand Retrospec'd, but this style inspired by Marilyn Monroe is rather gorgeous. 

Beautifully tailored in a luscious slightly stretchy cotton with a shaped gathered bust (nicely roomy),  a front waist yoke to define, and comfortable straps that will cover a bra; this pretty print will enchant everyone who sees it.

Multiple narrow tucks on the skirt allow for fullness and optimal swishing, and there are of course pockets.

Pair with some of our exquisite handmade Charlie Stone shoes for the most delightful retro look.

Composition - 97% Cotton, 3% Elastane

Care - Hand or machine wash cool, warm iron, dry cleanable

SIZING

We have taken the flat measurements of the garment to give you additional information to assist you with sizing decisions. Please remember these are taken with the garment lying flat and the measurement across the front of the garment, which is HALF of the full measurement. Remember to allow room for yourself, or compare against a garment that you already own. 

This dress will accommodate a larger bust than the flat measurement due to shaping in the cup/shelf bust area. This fabric will stretch approx 2cm, so if you are between sizes, we recommend sizing down for a pin-up fit. The seam allowance on the hem is 5cm, so can be let down for a longer skirt if required. Please enquire about our alterations service if you wish us to do this in store for you.

These measurement were taken in inches and are converted to an approximate cm size to the nearest half centimetre for your convenience.  Measurements are provided for guidance purposes only. Measurement tolerance is -/+ 1cm as every dress is unique.  Just like you!
