1970s Crystal Chip Butterfly Brooch

A stunning brooch in vibrant citrus colours of Lime, Lemon and Orange. The metal is a heavy textured brass with rope twist finish around the wings of the butterfly, then a finer dot finish around the main body, which has an orange cut glass inset. The butterfly's head is mount set with no border and sports two plain brass antennae.
The wings are filled with crystal chips in a gradient, giving tons of texture and catch the light beautifully. Really a statement piece! measures 4.5cm/2" at widest point and 3cm/1.5" tall.
