Hedgehog Velvet Purse

Look at this prickly pair!

We're huge fans of these wonderful, soft, silk velvet purses and bags from Lua, partially for their quality and feel, and also for their ethics.

These little lovelies feature a beaded ball on the zip, and we have to say we love using them as particularly eco friendly gift wrap when gifting jewellery or one of our brooches. The sweet wee purse measures 16 x 11cm.

Lua work very closely with a local small business in Vietnam that they formed ties with 17 years ago, having noticed the quality and vibrancy of items being sold whilst the founders were holidaying there.

Most of the items are designed in the UK and then made in Vietnam, paying the suppliers a fair price, which in turn is passed to the artisan workers and ensures good working conditions.
