1960s Daisy Print Cotton Shirt Waister Pleated Dress With Pussy Bow
This early 1960s dress exudes vintage style; crafted from a soft cotton fabric with a lemon base and a mid-century modern daisy print in hues of yellow, orange, and olive.
Its short sleeves, pearlised marble effect buttons, and turn-over collar with a pussy bow all add to its 50s-inspired look.
Knife pleats bring fullness to the skirt, which can be paired with a petticoat for added volume. The facing around the neckline and two hidden metal poppers in the front of the skirt below the waistline complete the dress.
Our model forgoes a petticoat, and ties the pussy bow inside the dress like a neckerchief. However, the mannequin photos show the dress with a petticoat and full pussy bow detailing.
Original belt loops are present, though the original belt is not included. A plain yellow, white, orange, tan, or olive belt would make a great alternative.
