1950s Fringe Petal Cocktail Bridal Hat

Very unusual ivory cocktail hat that would be great for a vintage bride or courthouse wedding, but also very nice for day to day (as you can see on our model, Miss Fern, though she chose to wear it in reverse).

In an ivory colour, the hat is a solid stiff structure and has been moulded and lined in a heavy weight silk, and the edges trimmed in ivory velvet for comfort. There are triangular petal shaped fringing motifs around the circumference, creating a lovely texture and drama. towards the front of the hat are two high quality vintage diamanté rhinestones set in silver prongs. 

The two petals to the rear of the hat have very faint yellowing on one edge from aging glue but is barely noticeable on and otherwise the hat is in very good condition, possibly only worn once for a special occasion.
