1930s Acetate Taffeta Narcissus Evening Gown
An absolute knockout dress. One of those "once-in-a-lifetime" pieces. This 1930s gown oozes classic Hollywood Style. It will take you to any gala or opening night...or, for the more adventurous bride, all the way to the alter. She's an asymetrical floor length gown, with one spaghetti strap at the shoulder and lovely pleating detail at the bust. Made up in in flowy acetate rayon, there is coture hand finishing all over this dress, with a fully boned and lined bodice, and a back metal zip & hook fastening. There's so much to love about this one, but we're especially obsessed with the amazing pink daffodil narcissus and art nouveau style bow print on a cream background.
Condition
Incredible condition for its age. It has been strengthened and restored in a few areas by our in-house specialists.
