1940s Large Mink Rose Centre Brooch

Pretty, large brooch featuring mink fur circlet with a felted rose to the centre in wine.

The mink is super soft and is in exquisite condition, coiled round the hand felted rose perfectly. She fastens with a brass pin to the rear, and is very secure.

Perfect vintage finishing touch to a winter coat, hat or scarf.

A Note About Fur

To be clear; we abhor the fur trade and vehemently believe it should not exist in the modern world.  Vintage fur has been open to wide debate and opinions and feelings vary wildly on this topic.  We are not here to debate whether vintage fur is acceptable or not, and to avoid this we have a No Fur policy at VV, including vintage fur.  

However, we do make an exception for brooches only, as these were made from waste product rather than purpose. They are important historically to the fashion of the time, and fall in line with our sustainability ethos. 

The brooch has been properly treated by us through the correct freezing and exposure methods to ensure hygiene and safety.
